Digitale Edition der englischen Parlamentsrollen von 1275 bis 1504 im Volltext. Die wissenschaftliche Edition basiert auf dem Text der ersten Edition von 1783, den sog. "Rotuli Parliamentorum", hrsg. von Reverend John Strachey, zieht allerdings das in der Folge von Cole, Maitland sowie Richardson und Sayles veröffentlichte Material heran und enthält darüber hinaus auch bislang unveröffentlichte Quellen (unter anderem Parlamentspetitionen). Allen Transkriptionen der lateinischen, anglo-normannischen und mittelenglischen Originaltexte sind Übersetzungen in modernes Englisch beigegeben. Die Edition enthält ferner 116 hoch aufgelöste, farbige Faksimileabbildungen von Schlüsseldokumenten zur englischen Parlamentsgeschichte.

This CD-ROM contains the full text and translation of the meetings of the English parliament from Edward I to Henry VII, covering the years from 1272 to 1504. All surviving records of the parliaments, including many texts never before published, are given in full, with new scholarly introductions to each parliament. The parliament rolls themselves are freshly transcribed from the original documents, while the transcripts incorporate precise information about the text in the documents (e.g., deleted and unreadable text) never before available. Over 100 specimen images show the rolls themselves, while a sophisticated search system permits retrieval of words and phrases across the whole text.
