Der Online-Service bietet zum einen die kompletten Texte von Shakespeares Theaterstücken und Gedichten nach der Arden II/III-Werkausgabe mit dem gesamten kritischen Apparat (Einführungen, Kommentare und Anmerkungen), zum anderen umfangreiche Materialien zur Zeit, der Biographie, den Werken und der Rezeption William Shakespeares. Enthalten sind etwa wichtige Nachschlagewerke zu Shakespeare und seinem sozio-kulturellen Umfeld, Volltextartikel zu literarischen und interdisziplinären Fragestellungen der Shakespeare-Forschung aus über 70 Fachzeitschriften sowie biographische Informationen. Einen besonderen Stellenwert nimmt das umfangreiche Quellenmaterial zur Aufführungspraxis ein mit Faksimiles ausgewählter Soufflierbücher von Shakespeare-Inszenierungen des 17. bis 20. Jahrhunderts aus namhaften anglo-amerikanischen Sammlungen und dem kompletten Text des "Gordon Crosse Theatrical Diary (1890-1953)". Ebenso enthalten sind Faksimiles früher Textausgaben, wie der ersten Folio-Gesamtausgabe (1623), ausgewählter Quart-Einzelausgaben der Theaterstücke (1594-1634) sowie bedeutender Ausgaben und Bearbeitungen des 17. bis 19. Jahrhunderts.
