Verlagsinformation :: Publisher's information The texts and images of all the Dead Sea Scrolls is now, for the first time, available online. The publication of the Dead Sea Scrolls was completed in 2009, and research across the globe is being conducted on the basis of the official paper editions. However, there is a growing need to make these editions available online, and Brill is proud to announce that this is now available on our reference works platform. Based on the Dead Sea Scrolls Electronic Library CD-ROM, published by Brill and Brigham Young University, Brill is offering the collection in two online products that are sold separately: Dead Sea Scrolls Electronic Library Biblical Texts and Dead Sea Scrolls Electronic Library Non-Biblical Texts. Both databases present a complete Hebrew transcription and English translation of the Biblical text and the Non-Biblical text, together with high-resolution images and can now be used side by side covering all the Dead Sea Scrolls texts ever published. The Dead Sea Scrolls Electronic Library Non-Biblical Texts provides users with a comprehensive tool for the study of the non-biblical texts from the Judean Desert (the "Dead Sea Scrolls") offering transcriptions (texts), translations, images, an inventory, and includes search options and zoom possibilities for the high-resolution images. This reference work will be an indispensable tool for all Biblical scholars and graduate students, theologians, Bible translators, those interested in the history and development of the Bible, the Second Temple period and the origins of Christianity; seminary and research libraries. |
