Database of the Chinese Political Campaigns in the 1950s: From Land Reform to State-Private Joint Ownership (1949–1956)

The Chinese Cultural Revolution Database (1966–1976)

  • All contents are original documents from the Cultural Revolution era, including CCP instructions, proclamations, bulletins; speeches by CCP leaders; important newspaper editorials, and mass organization
    publications;
  • About 10,000 first hand Chinese archival documents with up to 60 million words; since 2006, newly added documents with about 20 million words;
  • Newly added parts: “VIII. Miscellaneous Cultural Revolution Chronicles” and “IX. Special Archives: Self-Examinations, Confessions, Appeals, Guilty Pleas, Testaments/Suicide Notes and etc. during the Cultural Revolution”.
