Sketch Engine ist eine Sprachkorpusmanager- und Textanalysesoftware, die seit 2003 entwickelt wurde. Sie soll es Personen, die das Sprachverhalten studieren, ermöglichen, große Textsammlungen mittels komplexer, korpuslinguistischer Abfragen zu durchsuchen. Nutzende können ihre individualisierten Textkorpora erstellen und diese mit Hilfe der integrierten Textanalyse-Tools analysieren. Sketch Engine enthält 500 gebrauchsfertige Korpora in mehr als 90 Sprachen, die jeweils bis zu 60 Milliarden Wörter umfassen, um eine repräsentative Sprachprobe zu liefern.
