Online-Service mit Zugang zu den frühesten gedruckten arabischen Büchern vom 15. bis zum 19. Jahrundert basierend auf dem Bestand der British Library und A. G. Ellis’ Katalog im kombinierten Volltext- und Imageformat. Die rund 5.500 Bücher und 31 Periodika mit rund 2,2 Millionen Seiten umfassende Sammlung beinhaltet Beispiele aus über 400 Jahren arabischschriftlicher Drucke sowie Übersetzungen in europäische und asiatische Sprachen und zeigt so Europas lange Auseinandersetzung mit Wissen aus der arabischsprachigen Welt. Enthalten sind u. a. Qurʾān-Ausgaben mit Übersetzungen und Tafsīr, Ḥadīṯ, religiöse Literatur sowie islamisches Recht (fiqh, Statuten, Rechtsgutachten). Für den Bereich Sprache und Literatur (1475–1900) finden sich Periodika, Volksliteratur, vorislamische Dichtung (z. B. Imruʾ al‑Qays), maqāmāt, Kalīla wa-Dimna, 1001 Nacht, Sprichwörtersammlungen, Lexikographie, Grammatik und Rhetorik sowie Kataloge und Handschriftenverzeichnisse.
