Krasnaia zvezda is the premier source for current news and other information regarding the defense and security of the Soviet Union and Russian Federation. The newspaper publishes extensively on all aspects of Russia’s armed forces, including military reform, combat training and daily routine of troops, legal advice, analysis of Russia and CIS security issues, new combat equipment and arms, reports from areas of military conflicts around the world, information on foreign armies, alongside political, economic, business, cultural and sports news.
