Inhalt :: Content Online-Service mit Zugang zu sämtlichen Ausgaben der ukrainischen Wochenzeitung Narodna Hazeta (Народна газета). Das Blatt wurde im Februar 1990 in Kiew gegründet und war die erste offiziell registrierte oppositionelle Publikation in der damaligen Ukrainischen Sowjetrepublik (SSR). Sie fungierte als zentrales Presseorgan der Bürgerbewegung Narodnyj Ruch Ukrajiny, die der entscheidende Treiber hinter der Loslösung der Ukraine von der Sowjetunion war. Unter dem Motto „Für die Einheit der national-demokratischen Kräfte“ berichtete das Blatt streng pro-unabhängig und antikommunistisch über den Zerfall der UdSSR, die ersten freien Wahlen und den Aufbau des modernen ukrainischen Staates. Verlagsinformation :: Publisher's information Published in Kyiv from 1990-2009, Narodna hazeta (Народна газета, People’s Newspaper) was a continuation of the short-lived Rukh (1989-1990), with the motto “For the unity of national-democratic forces.” This Ukrainian-language publication was pro-independence, anti-communist, and provided detailed coverage of the lead-up to the first democratic elections held in the Ukrainian SSR. It ceased publication in 2009 due to bankruptcy.
