Verlagsinformation :: Publisher's information

Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO) is a vast and rapidly expanding product, providing easy access to thousands of books from the world-renowned scholarly list of Oxford University Press.

New books are added to the collection every month, spanning subjects across the humanities, social sciences, sciences, medicine, and law. This means your patrons can read new publications from pioneering authors alongside classic scholarship, including those who have received distinguished awards such as Nobel Laureates Amartya Sen and Michael Kremer.

Books within OSO are available on Oxford Academic - the home of academic research from Oxford University Press. An easy to use, modern platform developed using award-winning technology, Oxford Academic provides access to OUP's academic books in OSO alongside Handbooks, Very Short Introductions, practitioner medicine and psychology texts, and hundreds of the highest quality journals. By providing access to books on Oxford Academic, your patrons can find what they need quickly, using powerful faceted searching across text and images, and discover onward journeys into other avenues of research.

When users need to take their research offline, they can simply download chapters and images. Static URLs (using DOI infrastructures) and social tools allow researchers to share and discuss chapters and articles with their colleagues, students, and classmates. All whilst being assured that they can use their own accessibility tools and software, as we continue our work to adhere to evolving accessibility standards, including the World Wide Web Consortium guidelines.
